This is the view from the bottom of the Lower Green River Lake. The trail in this adventure goes along the left (East) side of the lake (8,000'), then cuts East just before White Rock. It then goes up Clear Creek valley halfway, then turns back South and goes up Slide Creek parallel to White Rock, ending at Slide Lake at about 9,500', which lies below the East side of White Rock. The path then went off trail along the West side of slide lake, and up to the saddle (11,000') between White Rock and a further mountain, Lost Eagle Peak.
Square Top rises 3,700 feet above the Green River valley.
